Layout for REND,a sort-of-8-pages exercise in SLOPPY PHOTOSHOP MAKEOUTS, a NEED TO GOTTA GO FAST, and ABUSE OF COLOUR 5EVER.

That’s not how I will really present this as though. That would be bad. But that is basically the entire premise of this booklet project for class. (Which is an 8-page booklet of anything you want to really do.)

I uh, just really wanted to do some digital speed paints again. Maybe I'm just going through a phase where lines aren't really getting things done for me, whereas huge blocks of colour kind of can. Also, I guess I just wanted to do something I thought was "pretty" this time around, but not necessarily practical for anything in general, hahaha.

The first one is either a subconscious manifestation of the Christmas Tree you always wanted or a man with a crazy 'fro and Christmas lights nestled within to make it look edgy. You can't convince me otherwise.

The second one is a city that produces candy and those three floating blocks are actually giant squares of Sky's Japanese Jelly thingies taking a ride on the air currents because their production is now much like that Nestle airated chocolate and the new lighter n' fluffier 3 Musketeers- so light they can just fly away! And yes, people everywhere are jumping up in a sad attempt to grab at them and their sugary goodness. They are also screaming in outrage as Link soils them with his boots as he jumps across them to get to the cave containing the Lens of Truth.

The last one is a Real-Estate Agent's worst nightmare. (And my favorite.)

You'd be surprised what literally tearing apart your photoshop canvas can do for you, XDD
Unless you're talking about the colours, which in that case it was a huge smattering of gradients and filters. I WENT FILTER CRAZY URRH

This looks like the kind of stuff you'd see in the art books they release after certain movies/games/series are done

It looks pretty legit. Also, love the palettes. And although the one with the floating squares is really calming, I can't help but love the silhouette with the castle. Especially the first two color alternatives. Something about them colors
